Plugging the Gap Tutorial
« on: January 15, 2007, 06:04:33 PM »
Ok .. so some of you are having problems plugging the gap after the little white thin has fallen out.. heres what i did

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

First Cut out some strips of cardboard the width of you spring

then fold that piece of cardbored in half .. longways

..and again

and then you are left with a piece of cardboard folded right down into a square... you may want to wrap another one around it for extra depth..

Make another one (unless you only have 1 leg)

and then push it into the gap between your spring and the bar that goes accross it.. folloing that strap it in with a bit of tape...

for extra safety you may want to do this.. but its yet to prove to do anything.. but it dopes look nice to people looking at them from the back...

I think the bit of plastic is a protector/guard for the spring. If you look the plastic thing, it's in front is some sort of roller. If the roller hits the spring hard and often enough I get a feeling it will do some damage. Even when you are just walking you can hear a difference, mine clunked.

I recon he's on to a winner with this.

Hi

PoweriZers and Pro-Jumps are identical apart from the brand name and are manufactured by the same people.

However Pro-Jump have got a mod for this which should be be with us by the of the week  and should sort this problem out.

Once this mod is in all new customers will have it sent within the packages and anyone who has already purchased them will be send them free of charge on request.

2nd gen was made to be quietier than the 1st gen, but the design of the cards is slightly off, a connection to the body of the leg assembley, may be the best way!! But I am not the designer of the stilts, but can try it out!!  ::)
