Elbow guards
« on: December 31, 2012, 11:26:16 AM »
Hi there,
Can anyone recommend some good elbow guards for bocking? Need to be comfortable and provide good protection for falls. Cheap would be good, but safety first!

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks!

Ok they do do some really nice guards over on the Ghostbikes site so have a look at them
The best by far were PitDirt that were sold on here but they couldn't get them any more
They are the cheap ones that people use for motoX and minimoto and normally come as a pair with knee guards

I have found them on e-bay every now and then and they are usually about £10 a set

So have a search

I've gone with a pair of Fox Titan Sport elbow pads. They seem simple, not too big. Got em from Winstanley BMX (free delivery, which gets my business every time!).

Being new to this (and indeed anything that needs elbow pads), I probably won't be able to give a balanced review of them, but if (I should probably say when) I fall on them, I'll tell you what happens to my elbow!
