Best place to get replacement spring guards??
« on: December 26, 2012, 09:47:55 PM »
Hi guys,

First time posting, so go easy!!

Just got a pair of ProJump CZ-80's and managed to scr***e up the spring guards by falling off first time...  :Cno:

Anyone know where to find some replacement plastic guards, possibly different designs?

Cheers

Alex  :Nero:

Hi Alex,

Where abouts are you from.

Most people find something else to put over the springs. There is no escaping the scratches and rips on the original covering.
If you're not all that creative then just go with some electrical tape, hockey stick tape, or even gaffer tape.
It doesn't really matter what you use and it seems to be a good way to add a little flare to the stilts to make them different to everyone elses :)

Yep we all do it mate
Like Locky said tape em up
Or have a search on here some people have made crack in lookin covers from bike tyres
I now sew mine up from heavy material and Velcro (it is a real pain but looks nice and can be transfered to new springs)

Nice one, cheers guys.

Locky, I'm from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.

I might just have a go at finding some colourful tapes on the web and personalise it :)

Thanks

You'll probably do just as well browsing a hardware shop alex. Possibly cheaper that way too  :Cwink:
