I notice you seem to be using basic icons for threads, new threads, hot threads etc.

Why not use some of the images in the smiley section colour shifted as icons?

Just use http://www.gifmagic.com/ and make that graphic red for a hot thread etc.

Just an idea to up the bockyness...

The site can do with a bit of a facelift all over, to be honest its all down to time restrictions, although I work for the company I do the forum in my spare time as I don't have enough time during the day to spend on it and the rest of the admin / mod team are also doing a grand job looking after the site on a voluntary basis. It is on my list of to do's and I promise I will get to it at some point!

I've administered many forums over the years and understand your pain dude.
I just think a few colourful bock related graphics will make it pop.
