Yep I'm almost ready for the camping bit now

Just building a couple of different design alcohol stoves to boil the tea on  :Claugh: (Yep guys bring a fire extinguisher someone  :Claugh:)

Look up "Soda can stoves" online and se what I mean (this is almost as much fun as bocking and a lot more dangerous ) only had 2 explode so far (only built 4 though  :Claugh: )

Still a bit undecided what to do here.  The camp site is about 45 mins walk from the Bay yes?

Is the plan just to meet up in the Bay on the Sat am?

Jason / Clive, I know you guys are camping Friday night too, but I will just be coming down Sat am I think and staying Sat night.
Hmmmmmmm........Why did I buy these again?!?!?!?

It's 2.5 miles and google says 49 mins on foot.

My own opinion is it's not really walkable, especially if you are carrying something like stilts.
It's quite easy to get the bus to/from the campsite. An all day adult ticket is £3.40 but I you would need to change buses along the way.

Saying that we've got a 15 seat minibus so doing 2-3 trips shouldnt be a problem :)
Sheepy makes a great driver.

The plan is to meet around 11am on the Saturday. It usually fizzles out around 4 or 5pm and those who are camping head to the campsite and we do the same on Sunday though I expect Sunday to be the quiet one.

Life jacket and inflatable dingy might be useful.   :Claugh:

Or at the very least a pair of stilts to keep your feet out of the water!  :Cyes:

So as of (hopefully) some time today, the hotel will be booked, and as of sometime next Saturday I will be seeing you all! :). On a side note however... if anyone would like a lift/pick up, going down Saturday morning, and back Sunday night, from the East Midlands Area or somewhere on the way, just PM me and we can hopefully sort something out. Route below!

See you all soon! :D

Jason,

I may see you there.  I'm gonna leave the camp site until I arrive (see what the weather like).  I've spoken to them and they say they can squeeze me in on the day as I'm only a little one.

 :Ceek:

It's only 1 hr qtr drive for me from home, so if the weather is crap I can join in the pub meal and then drive home.

 :Cyes:

Hmmmmmmm........Why did I buy these again?!?!?!?

Billy, my tent's living area is about the size of a gazebo, and if needs be, we take down the bedroom compartments while not in use and there you have it, a huge dome like gazebo, can fit about 15 people in a circle that way. Had about 14 of us in the singing songs while p**sed at Volksfest. So all will be good. I reckon we could manage about 20 of us in there.
