That's fair I guess, I suppose I hadn't thought that there might be peeps with medical limitations coming. If you need to get a taxi to be able to complete then go for it.

I can't do any tricks or anything, but I'll make sure I do quite a bit of endurance training over the summer so I can keep up. When will the t-shirt site be up? I don't have a paypal account either, may have to get my parents to pay on their credit card and give them the money back. Or can I reverse one and pay the guy organising it when I get there? lol. 6km is about 3.8 miles which shouldn't be bad on projumps, seeing as you can run 25 mph in them :P I hope we won't be doing those speeds. But I'm really looking forward to it, I'll have to tube in though, and I'm thinking that a travel card would be the cheapest method as we'll end up near a different station than we started. I'll get sO many looks on the tube in them, ha... :D

Just to let you know this is now going global. Besides 'Capital Bocking Washington,DC'. You can now add Sydney ( capital of new south wales -before some1 pipes up with 'what about Canberra' ;D) and I believe Vienna and Berlin. I know a thread has been added to German language sites but I have news on take up yet.

I've just done a quick head count including Jumping Jak (who isn't on the list) and counting Team-101 as 3 people... And we have 56 bockers coming! :o
I'm sure that by the end of this week that will reach 60, and maybe by August we will have 100 bockers there.
We also have people from Sweden and Germany flying over to visit! :)

August 19th 2007 is now officially "World Bocking Day", this is now on the shirt Re-design! A new place to order higher quality customisable T-shirts with the redesign has been set up, the link is in my signature ;)

These are the designs for the US and Australia meet logos, just so you can see the general Idea we are going for!

Looking forwards to meeting you all!

I have just noticed freakazoid has not signed up for this....... I am surprised there are not more people wanting to come along to this. It will be the biggest meet ever and you become a part of history by coming to it. This is the first ever world bocking day, dont let it go by and then think, I wish I had gone......

Sunday Parking

Sundays present the best chance of finding a space in Central London, many residents embracing the chance to enjoy some fresh air outside the capital. Single yellow lines and metered spaces are all available for free parking, although you would be well advised to try and arrive before 11am for your best chance.

But anyone know where there are these free spaces ?
This links of some help but .... ?

I can normally get parked in either the side roads around Drury lane or Haymarket but I'm normally in at 8 am and they fill up fairly quick

I've got to take the tube on the day because the wife wants the car so parking won't be a problem for me  ;D

lol. Prolly won't bump into each other on the tube then, but we might do. The projumps would be the biggest give-away I think. You going to wear yours on the tube? :P It'll help if the escalator's broken! Joke. Those things are really tall sometimes... My only problem at the moment is trynig to get the only credit card owner in my house to buy me them online, I said I would pay her back straight away as I have the money but she says she doesn't think they're safe, I mean I could've picked something much more dangerous than projumps, oh well... I'll be trynig to persuede her some more this evening when she's home, really what them for this weekend as I'm going to a camp thing with lots of outdoor pursuit and they're be really fun there. :( It's hard to buy stuff from the internet without a credit card yourself.

if you have the pads they are safe. Without pads you WILL hurt yourself. Try to get over that the neat thing about them is that 'whilst they look scary--- they are really really cuddly'.

Tho this isnt the thread for all that.

Oh but talking of getting there ---do, do, do take pix and videos of you on the way to the meet not just there. Pix of railway station signs, road signs, your 1st blurred cup of coffee at WOT O'CLOCK on Sunday morning, meeting other PJ'ers on the way. Some1 or more will edit it all together to give a real big feal for the community coming together from all over. And remember this is now happening on 3 continents. I think I know of someone in Dubai --maybe he she be told about all this ;D

You can always get a prepaid card.....http://www.idtprime.com/, that way there is no danger of fraud. I have used them before, you can get them from most places that have Paypoint
