what weight for a friend
« on: August 19, 2011, 04:59:47 PM »
My friend may buy a pair down the road and I wondered what to get. The box says

197-218
219-242

My friend is 210, as a beginner what should he get?  I figured the 219 model would allow more room with weight in the future,  it would start stiff like mine are.

What do you guys think?  We would use them for jumping not just walking. Mine are 133-155 and I weigh 135 so it works. He is a little over the half way mark of 197-218 so I wasn't sure :) thanks!

I'm confused here

Projumps are weighted in 10kg jumps 60,70,80,90,100,110, and 120's

Most of the other types had 3 sizes the highest was 90/120 I think

So what type of stilts are you looking at

Well, the box differs from the website.  Which is very very strange, seeing its the SAME company.

From everything I've gathered in my short bocking experience, your better off buying within your weight range on the newer pro jump bocks; especially as a beginner

From the picture of the box it shows springs going up to 120kgs, which I don't think they do on the latest models so it may be an older model in the shop. If that's the case you will need someone with more experience to help you out

Got it now mate  :Claugh: we used to have those pounds things over here

I'm 51 and grew up with the lb but even people of my age have been converted now

As they are basicly the Exo's I would recommend going for the weight range you are in rather than the one above as the new springs are about 10kg stiffer than the old ones size for size

so 197-218 = CZ90
