calf cuff wont stay [solved]

my calf cuffs arrived today put them onto my fly jumpers and they fitted fine tightened all bolts set them up correctly went out into garden and went flying as one of the bars on the calfs cuff spun round i have tried tightening them more and same think happens


any help with this would be appreciated


edit:  used tape to create friction which has locked it into place Smiley
