springs

my fibre glass springs have a very small grazing on the back im worried they are weakened. was thinking of taping them up as its only a small graze but i am obviously worried. has any 1 had any similar expriences. only had them a month and dont want to fork out for springs if its a minor problem. can any 1 help please thanks. from paul kings lynn :Cbiggrin:

hi. i took the rubber protector off and reveiled a 8 inch long spllinter about half a mm thick and about 5mm wide. personly i am thinking tear it off rub it down a bit and reprotect it. what do you think. has any1 had any probs like this before.

lol my msn is not an email address. To upload to the forum the image needs to be under 1000 pixels wide. It will work then.

got there in the end mate. it looks worse than it is the splinters finish where i stopped wripping the rubber back.

ok thats a problem lol. Do you know if anything you did might have caused this?

I'd contact your supplier asap as they might still be covered by warranty and even if they are not, the supplier should get you some new springs anyway as it's just good service and you're not at fault. Are you? ;)
