Hey all...
« on: February 02, 2011, 03:02:28 AM »

Righto, thought I'd introduce myself.

Long story short, me and my (now ex) partner split up. And as with all things like this, I was feeling pretty down.

So, I was told that I should get a new hobby to get the girl out of my head.

Lo and behold, I was in my local park, and some bloke came charging past wearing a pair of power stilts. Thus the inspiration was born.

Stilts arrived today. And I've had a quick play (its dark and wet) and I must say, I love them already.

Probably a constantly asked question, but are there any unwritten rules I should know? Basic do's and don'ts?

Thanks in advance.

That's awesome.

Is it a 'club' as such? Do they have a name?

I would be very interested.

However, I'll be wanting to actually be able to bock somewhat, and wouldn't want to bore you with my newbie ways.

I must say Paul-self, I was watching some of your videos and I'm dead impressed...and also extremely envious.

I'll do my best.

Just out of interest, what springs do you guys use. I'm on 70s (right for my weight)...but you guys get incredible height.

Are you on 80s or 90s? Do you go up as your technique gets better?
