New Bindings
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:52:34 PM »
I just got some of the Edge Bindings, while attaching them to the stilt I found that the little piece that fills the gap on the part where the screw goes through fits perfectly on the binding, but the hole in the middle is too big for the bolt meaning they would just rattle about a bit too much, I can use the gap filling things from my previous bindings which fits the screw perfectly, but not the binding and only fills the gap only just enough.

Also the toe bindings have no bit that can fill the gap and the hole is too big for the bolt, I can attach all bindings I just think they may be insecure :S

Any help?

Thanks
P.S I am fitting them onto eXo pros

The right way is to make the holes larger and use the bearing parts from you actuall bindings. I did that for other bindings. If you only use washer, you cannot move the binding, and that's what the bearing part in the middle of the holes is for. ;-)

The toe pieces come without the bearing part for the new bindings and the ankle part, I am using the bearing part from my old bindings, but the bearing part is actually a little bit too small for the new bindings so it wiggles a bit :S

Pics as promised, ideally works best when you use the smaller silver washers on the inside and the bigger one on the outside, the washers are not supplied though but can be brought from any hardware store.
