Springs keep hitting the backs of my legs
« on: August 07, 2010, 08:56:58 PM »
well ive been powerbocking for 2 days now and i can jump on one leg and stuff but when i run and sometimes when i am jumping the top of the spring hits the back of my leg and its starting to get a bit painful as im getting bruises from it. Is this only happening because im not doing it right or is it just that my stilts too big for me ? (i did get the right weight range tho) Also i have thought about putting padding on the tops of the springs do u think that will help?
any feedback will be much appreciated thanx

It is probably because you are short (no offence meant here) But thats what i have read on the forum before when this happens. I believe what many people do is attach a cheap flip flop to the back to act as padding between your leg and the spring :)

Nice one Squeeker

What they actually do is put the flipflop on the footplate to make themselves about 1/2" taller so they don't get hit by the springs

You can also use the hard foam for the same result but that is about 1"
