Advice on Gym meet
« on: January 27, 2010, 05:04:33 PM »
Hi all,

Have been emailing a few gyms around maidstone and got this reply back,

Unfortunately the hall has just been resurfaced and we are concerned the equipment you use would damage it. If you think this would not be the case, I would suggest that you make arrangements to come in and show the duty manager how the equipment works and they can monitor the floor surface.

all i can think of is the rubber soles that would protect thier floor, what else could i say to them that could possibly change there mind.

cheers
jamie

Fact of the matter is they can damage floors. Fall over and bocks could easily scr***e it. Covering bolts would help but can never eliminate it. What gyms did you use to have. Ask todfy or lol. I know the name but cant remember it.

Edit: opal!!

Hi there, best thing for you to do is stick around here for a bit. See if there are any local groups or meets. It's unlikely anybody will message you. Being a little pro-active will go super far here and people will often go out there way to help you.

also adding what part of the country your looking in might help

“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!”

Hi all, the letters are actually from Harlands, which there are a few posts about them.

Im gonna send a letter asking for proof of the agreement, and I will take it from there.
