Well this meet is now going to have an unexpected element of sadness to it.
Will /Gibbo is leaving us. Fortune and adventure beccons for this young man....in Minehead. He leaves at the end of the month and this will be his last meet!!! Well for awhile, says he will be popping back on a regular basis.
But, rising above that. We have had a few requests for stuff to do. Ania wants a power/basetball game...this she shall have. Katie ( gizmoqueen) wants birthday cake and a visit to the pub at the end of the meet. Might be able to manage this too.
At tme moment the weather is looking good. No rain for a couple of days before hand and moderate wind. So its looking like Guild Hall Square meet from 11 onwards for early birds then gym 12-1400 ( peeps can just start there if they want). Then onto the seafront at the hotwalls/spice island. Returning to the Guild Hall Sq for a final bounce about all those steps and then into 1 of the local drinking dens.
Parking is free at the sports centre, but it closes at 1800. Its a 'just less than' 10 min walk back there from the GH sq. So that neatly gives an end time.
Again, all are very welcome. As you may have noticed from a couple of pix Ive posted from last weekends event, we are just about into shorts and tees weather outdoors...as long as 1 keeps moving.
