Looks really good Naz  Well done all involved And the Gallery bit is so much better I can now see all the pics I used to miss Like the Pink but have got to go with the Red as my favorite but think the pink will make a good default (Yes you've finaly dragged me away from 7 Dana  ) So it is yet another pink vote Jason   |

OMG that's raving PINK!!!!!! A little in your face? And most of all... How on earth am I going to keep it running on one of the control screens at work!!! It won't exactly hide inconspicuously. Just to be fussy, If we stay with the black background we need to reconfigure the smilies as they look rough not on a white background!!! Now I’ve had my mone… It is quite cool!!!! You can change it back to the old theme. The themes are on the left panel below the shout box. The music one was the old one. Although the green theme is a little toned down too  The chosen theme will stay wherever you are. It's in your profile settings and not cookies so you will be fine You are right about the smilies tho.  |

what's weird about those smileys is that part of the backgrounds are done as transparent, so why would someone trim off the white background, but leave some???

Because they probably used a white BG in the graphics program, and when saving the gif files set white as the transparent colour. The edge pixels will have had a bit of the smiley colour bleed into them, so they aren't pure white and as such you end up with a bit of a border. HEY. This new theme and layout looks suspiciously like.... That forum that didn't take off
I like the blue theme and the black theme. Black is shiny but the smileys looks dodgy, so I'll stick with blue for now. |

I've had a couple of hours on all of them now and either the red, blue or green are fine. The themes with the black background though are rough on the eye, the smilies look rubbish on it and it doesn't fit in to anything!!! So lets vote for any thing other than black backgrounds!!!! |

Its just been brought to my attention that not everyone can see the poll above, I've tried to look into the settings but it shows me that every group apart from guests should be able to see this and be able to make a vote.
the following points have been made in the shout:

Guys if you don't make suggestions or tell me what you want I can't help, if you have concerns to raise its best to put it in the thread rather than shout as otherwise its likely I will miss them as I rarely scroll down the shout whereas I try my best to read all to posts
There is NO official chosen colour or preferred one, my fave one is the musiconica theme but it could not be modified to include the new menu so if there was an official prefered option it would be that.
I'll take another look at the settings but in the mean time just let me know the colour you prefer and I will include it in the final count.
If people want me to cycle through the new themes or try out any again let me know and I can also extend the voting time.
Last thing I want is members to feel they are been "forced" to choose a particular theme - as everyone can choose their own theme from the "choose a theme" box

In response to what Q said here: Or if 1 chose a diff colour, letting 1 stay that way. click on your name on your post. It'll take you to your profile. Then go to "look and layout options". Where it says "current theme", hit the "change theme" link. Pick your theme by clicking "use this theme". It will go back to the other page. Scroll down. Click "Save Profile". This will be permanently saved in your settings so it will always be the chosen theme from that point onwards. |
