I get 4 weeks off over Christmas, from the 11th December until the 10th January, which gives a lot of time to get some bockin' up north done. I was wondering if we could arrange something then? Manchester City Centre is usually kept free of ice, and I fancy bobbing up and down in a Santa hat, so yeah.

Oo Oo I can make Manchester depending on what day as I work shifts, 4 on 6 off, so if it matches a day off I'd love to come. Prob bring one or two others with me. As far as Sundays go 13th or 20th are both good for me. :p

Woo! Now we're getting somewhere I propose starting at Manchester Victoria then bounding down the sidestreets to the area where CosmicBimbo usually practices (it's a skate-friendly area with a white suspension bridge crossing over a canal, and a Starbucks on the other side) then following from down there it leads to some open-area with benches and stuff. It's been over a year since I was there, so my memory's a bit hazy.

Lets pencil that in for a start then and see who else can come. As for getting there: I take my town's train (it's on the Chester/Manchester line) directly to Piccadilly or Altrincham, then catch the tram to Victoria. Manchester, being a city has plenty of parking spaces, and Victoria station is right next door to a car park (but I don't know how much it would be, given it's a Sunday I don't think it'd be that expensive or busy). Piccadilly has a proper car park, you could park there then catch the tram to Victoria. I recommended coming without a stilt-bag. Whilst they're alright for things where you stay in one spot (like CB08) they're a lot of trouble to carry when going around a city centre (I learned the hard way last year, good thing my stilt bag has shoulder straps).

Triffic! If it's just 2 of us from over here we might get the train from Chester to Piccalilly..etc. If more than 2 then the car would be cheaper, I'll sort that nearer the time. Now all we need is to drumb up some more support! and stop the rain

Plan "A" is to meet at Piccalilly station on Sunday 13th Dec, then if we decide to go to Victoria we can hop onto a tram.

Chester 29th; I guess the train station might be a good place to meet up if any of you are traveling in by train!!!! The bockin isn't great there so we will move into town asap. Shall we say 11am. Any one need my mobile can PM me so we can keep in touch if any one is going to be late. Plan "A" is a wonder round the city centre, some of the city walls, and a bounce down by the river and park. There are 4 of us from over here going. Please let me know if your comin so we know who we are waiting for etc. See you Tuesday!

I'm sorry I didn't post anything yesterday after you made your post, I forgot about it.
Did it go alright?
