non bocking injurie
« on: September 14, 2009, 11:29:13 AM »
now most of you know i do a few extreem sports like downhill cycling and dirt jumping etc as well as bocking, and that is allway's  the way i would imagian i would hurt my self but i was wrong

it was wile i was flying a kote

i was out friday flying my kite for the first time, since i had sorted out all 4 lines, as i got my self a small 9square meter kite
and i was happy that i got it off the ground and then i courght the wrong part of the wind window and it picked me up about 8ft then slaming me into the ground(and then i disconected the main lines so the brake was on) and then was draged about 20-30ft along the ground on my front, then comming to a stop.

and i had loads of fun flying it but when i went to the A&E it wasnt any more, i have found out that i have probilly ripped my crushial ligiment in my knee and will be on crutches for a wile and that i can not do any sports for a few weeks minium

i am back in the hospetial on tuesday to get it looked at again and see what it is, i hope it isnt ripped cos it is a long recovery

:Ccry: :Ccry: no bocking for a wile

Hope it gets better soon mate

And if you can't do Halloween on stilts why not do it on crutches  :Claugh:

Have you modded the crutches yet so you can do that bit on the advert (spins etc)

Seriously though mate take it easy and get well soon

Cruciate ligament's a fun one to rip, suprised you don't need surgery on it to be able to walk again.

Hope it heals up fast.
