Bloody tempting, and given the scorching weather could make for an amazing time. Will see if funds allow and how knackered I am after Saturday's bock in London. Are many going?

i'll try and make it afternoon probably..

i just purchased some  cuffs from PJ and hopefully i'll fit them before sunday and they won't come apart randomly.. :D

Well Ive just had a request to bring along 'Matt' the crash mat. So there is flip training on the cards too, wellthats 1 of the things its used for .

As for how many? Well the last few meets have had 6 peeps and a few ground crew. But been different combinations of 6 peeps.

So this time fingers crossed Gemma is no longer 'grounded' :Ctwitcy: And Dave isnt working + plus I gather 2 ( possibly 3 ) new portsmouth peeps were found last week and hopefully will be comming along :Cyes:.

So with luck with just locals we may be edging into double figures. But as so often peeps can fall by the wayside. I myself am ignoring my sisters birthday lunch on Sunday to be in Pompy ( no great hardship I must confess hehe).

Yep, there is certainly an interesting 'historical twist' to bocking in Pompy, you get the choice C14th, C18th or C20th steps to jump on or off.

re Tim's mention of 'crowds', Portsmouth and Southsea are very 'expansive' areas and the crowds dont 'crowd'

If you're bringing a crash mat, that definitely swings the pendulum! Would love to practice some flips. Though I did just check train fares and they're really quite pricey. I'll see what can be done...

How long are people thinking to stick about for this meet? Just been looking at trains and I need to specify the train to get cheap tickets.

I do believe we have another  barbi bock and crash matt ( btw it is matt --in honour of swebounce incase there was any confususion amongst peeps) on sat 18th July

I bumped into 1 of the riserRaptors yesterday ( plymouth for uni, bmth to scrounge of them old peeps he doesnt talk to much :o  during the summer)  )who hopes to make it

So basically   Yeah we do have somat planned

OOO un I believe Bexx has expressed an interest in this event too, which is good ---means its 50 -50 which 1 of you gibbo goes for :Claugh:

hi there  just a lil report, on the whole a good day,  went from 11 till gone 6 , bit too windy for the crash matt, but we still all had a lil go.

Another point in portsmouth favour.. in the space of a ten min walk on southsea common between bock spots we passed 2 beer tents and i mean passed boohoo.

1 possible lil downer. towards the end of the day 1 of our ground crew casually mentioned that 6 of his workmates had been isolated awaiting the results of test ...4 suspected swine flu. oo he went on to say...'if they have it ive got it'. un erm i sat next to him as he gave me a lift 2 my car

So stay tuned the JJ's mayb going into quarentene or just bocking in surgical masks :Cswoon:
