Trip's straps were good. I have a set on my son's stilts and they work fine. I wish I could get in touch with him so I could find out who he had make them for him. Incidentally Spud, is there any way you can put me in touch with Pinhead?

The pads work but will break at the first fall. That said, as Naz pointed out, if they saved your knees then they have done their job. For the rental outfit, I'm moving over to Anarchy pads because they are comfortable with knee bars and very tough.

As everything is destined for the dustbin, the amount I purchased can only be described as "too many".

Sorry, I can't help with pinhead. But as a general rule if he is in the position to make straps he will get back to people. If he isn't then he won't. Somebody from skyhigh might be able to help.

I think trip once said his were made in Norwich but I don't really know. They were fine. Just far from Pinny standard. Trip's do the job tho. At least anarchy pads can't break :D I'm actually kidding. They are decent pads. I just prefer the hard type.

Kinda sorry you spent money on some rubbish kit tho :/

heyy

on the Pinhead note, he is really hard to get hold of at the moment not having a mobile and his computer issues,

we try and get in touch with him everytime we have a meet or are having a quiet practice somewhere but i know he has a few things he is sorting out at the moment.  give him a while let him get things sorted and maybee he will be back bigger and bolder than ever

Thanks Spud. I only want to ask him where he had them made because from what I can gather here, he found a local company in Norwich to make them for him.

Just a quick caution here

I got to try a set of straps that had a 7 on the front of them

I believe that they were bought from a 7 dealer (not Trip)

The buckles on them broke after a couple of uses and they continually came loose

I believe my mate who owned them chucked them in a bin in the end

I have never seen the ones Trip sold so they could be very good and I have seen Pins ones and know they are very good

So be careful and be certain you get the real ones as the bad ones are a waste of money
