I had problems with getting a bag as I had to have the kneebars up high and they wouldn't fit unless I lowered them (a real pain with cuffs)

So I made my own in the end

Jason  :Hoofies2: :CGEEK:

You made that?! Wow.

If I paid for materials would you be able to make something I've designed?
My girlfriend has the skill to make it, but she doesn't enjoy sewing anymore
and her machine isn't really strong enough for thick materials.

When will you use your bag Bexx? I won one a bit ago but not sure what I'll use it for.
A back pack would be cool, but as a side carrying bag I might as well just hold the
springs and not have to worry about someone stealing it while I'm bocking.

EDIT: I just thought of the answer. It's very useful for travelling. If you have to
stow your bocks away on coach or plane journeys. =) Yours looks nice too! ^_^
Everyone's dreams sit aloft a rungless ladder. Some ladders are higher than others. Some are so tall they reach high above the clouds - but everyone can see their dream. Most people see that their ladder has no rungs and although they may talk about climbing it one day, seeing no way to get there, they eventually give up and settle for what lies beneath it.
The brave however, the wise, the imaginative and the strong of will seek out their missing rungs. They learn all they can about the ladder, they surround themselves with friends and family who would also find the rungs, and failing all else they craft the steps themselves with their own two hands from nothing. Sometimes a rung breaks and the person falls. Some of these people will fall too hard and lose the strength to climb again - Yet they feel comfort in knowing they tried. They became better for it. And they experienced things and witnessed sights upon the climb that those who sat forever beneath it will never know.
Then there are the special few who find new steps, or fix and climb again the ones that failed. Who eventually, through sheer tenacity and courage come to reach the final rung - Only they will have their dreams fulfilled. The extraordinary then build new ladders. These are the strongest people of all.

To be honest I don't use mine and it was a real pain to make it is nice looking though  :Claugh:

I don't spend much time on the sewing machine due to work so you might be better off enlisting Pin as he seems to be a master (his stiching puts mine to shame  :Claugh:)

My bag is a completely different ordeal altogether.
It's fashioned out of my old schoolbag, for some reason my backpack had two zips on it.

One tight to the backpack, and one in the normal backpack place.
I cut off the most of the bag, except for the strip created inbetween the two zippers.
i let that piece of material hang down in a curve, and slide my stilts in the material.
I attach my foot binders around this flap of material, and then use the strap from the bar and attach it at the top of each shoulder strap.
This means i have a pair of bocks sitting on my back, just useful for whenever i need to take them around on quite a journey, and couldnt be bothered carrying them or be allowed to walk with them.

This probably makes no sense.

I tried turning them around and my stilts just arnt having it!  :Ccry:  I would prob have to adjust the knee bar to get them in right, which would be a pain everytime i pack and unpack them  :Cmad:

Although It does say on the website i bought the bag that there is no need for adjustments and dismantling

Cantallian on PP is PBC on PJ.  :Cwink:

Just a word on bags. I stock the FlyJumper and Poweriser variants. Both have pros and cons so here they are:

FlyJumper Pros
Lightweight - can be carried slung behind your back using the shoulder strap,
2 separate compartments - one for each stilt which prevents them from rubbing against each other,
Space - more than enough room in the bag for all your safety gear,
2 sizeable pockets - for carrying accessories, tools, portable phone, etc.,
Storability - can be folded when not in use,
Price - quite affordable, certainly not exaggerated like its counterpart!

FlyJumper Cons
Length - will carry stilts set to their default factory position. If you're tall and extend the kneebar you may not be able to get them in,
Soft base - you wouldn't want to leave it on a wet surface!
Stability - won't sit upright when loaded. Tends to fall over to one side. Not very important but it's still a con.

Poweriser Pros
Construction - very robust design,
Large - can carry stilts with kneebar extended,
Space - more than enough room in the bag for all your safety gear,
Large side pocket - for carrying accessories, tools, portable phone, etc.,
Wheels and retractable handle - can be pulled behind you like most luxury luggage,
Solid base and rubber feet - can be left on a wet surface as it won't touch the ground,
Security - comes with combination padlock (but a thief won't bother about removing the lock!),
Stability - thanks to its feet, it always sits upright.
Chic - Poweriser logo is stitched on the side of the bag in its 3 corporate colours (looks superb!),

Poweriser cons
Heavy - 5 times the weight of the FlyJumper bag! Comes with shoulder strap but only Arnold Schwarzenegger could use it,  :Claugh:
Design fault - no separator between stilts forcing them to rub against each other. Do that with Powerisers and they will be ruined the first outing! Solution is to place a piece of cardboard between them,
Storability - Large bag that cannot be collapsed in any shape or form. You can't just fling this in your school locker!
Price - very expensive! (despite all its plus points, most people would not be able to justify the expense).

This forum belongs to Pro-Jump. Out of respect, I have purposely not added the prices although you can find them by Googling the products. As Naz has suggested contacting me I am happy to price the bag of your choice via PM. Thank you for your understanding.

hey all
i was reading this in college 2day and i think that straping the stilts together with the knee straps or other straps and hook them over a shoulder works really well and when your bocking where would you put the bag ???
