EVO bindings
« on: March 26, 2009, 07:28:42 PM »
Which ones are the ones on projump? EVO1 or EVO2? Is there any difference quality-wise?
Thanks :)

EVO-2 aren't newer, they've both been around the same amount of time.

They simply have a moulded plastic ratcheting piece with decoration, opposed to the basic metal ratchet on the EVO-1. Therefore the EVO-1 ratchet is going to grip better, but it also means it's going to wear the binding down a lot faster too, as the metal will cut into the plastic easier. However, they are stronger, so it's a payoff of strength versus lifetime.

There's no different price or quality-wise (if you incorporate how much longer the EVO-2s might last), the main difference is that the EVO-2 look nicer :)

EVO-1

EVO-2

I'd be worried about Spud's interests in your bed sheets if I were you, Naz :Claugh:
