They don't cost much to make ?

" I buy new BMX ( off road ) tyres has old tyres may not last as long. I get the biggest size I can a 26 inch should make a couple of pairs which can be used twice. I found a nice tire in Adsa's for £10 which means they cost about £2 for a side. "

I've had a tire snake in my car for weeks ( the one in that write up ! ).
Had anyone needed it at the gym the other week I could have a pair in minuets.

Different not better !?
My way needs less tools, just a scissors and ..... no just scissors !
I use cable tie does the job and there's no mucking about, pull tight that's it.
I can remove the old one a replace in 30 seconds :p

I wouldn't say anyone ways better it's a case of what suits you !

Having used tie up socks for a while i found unlessbthe laces were very stong they broke on dodgey landings. I couldnimagine hsvin the same prob with cable ties. Might be stronger but they dont give at all  :Cmask:

I may not bounce has high as somw not I've never know one to just snap I alway say use three and put tape over them in the same way poeple put tape over the metal clip.
I've twice see people having to pull a good tire sock/boot off because the others slipped or come off and they had nothing to fix it with. Ties means you can carry the odd one with you and at least use it to get you bouncing on it again in second :)

Yeah, thats quite a good point. They are probably totally fine lol. I think I would probs break a pair if I used them, I am pretty good at killing tire socks, but as you said, easily repaired.

I rememeber the first time we meet. You was having problems and needed a screw driver.
The penny trick didn't work and you ended up running around it odd sock to nick one off a taxi driver  :Ctwitcy:
