I had introduced myself on here. I'm Stephen from Rochester. I don't know why but my post has been removed from this thread. Strange. Anyway, got my stilts in January. Love them. Taking a break until I can get some new pads and springs. Worn my pads out. God they go quick.

Hi all, Im Quentin (or just 'Q') and I live in Bournemouth and have had my springs since 1 dec 2006.

Why did I get them ? Well a few weeks before by bike was stolen. Now I hadnt done any serious mountain biking for quite some time so couldnt really justify spending£500+ on a replacement. On the other hand buying and then handling a cheap job would just bug me.

So, whilst fighting over that little thaty little issue, I  spotted the Gruniad artical on powerisers. I just thought 'yay'. I had a pair within the week. Since then? Well, basically Im rubbish. But Im having the time of my life.

Ive been to meets locally (see below) as well as London and Bradford. In total Ive met nearly 40 other bockers and that looks set to nearly double next month when I go to a meet in Spain.

As for local meets. Well Im part of the www.jurassicjumpers.co.uk . A little group in the south of England. We have been holding regular meets since the beginning of the year. Initially these were monthly but with the improved weather and the demand they seem to be getting more regular.

So far we have met up in Dorchester, Bournemouth and Poole. With Portsmouth on Easter Sunday and back to Dorchester on 13th April ( more details in the meets section) and Weymouth in May already lined up. We are also filming a little bit for Meridian Tonite ( the local early evening news magazine program) on Tuesday 10th April. Thats also when we get our Tee shirts!YAY. We have also got ourselves into a couple of local newspapers.

Athoul has already sorted out a gym in Sherbourne in the north west of our 'area' and today I hope to organise a 2nd in Southampton for the south.

So, in summary. if you live in the area, are thinking of going to 1 of the colleges in the area later in the year or planning to visit ( just for a meet or on hols) please please do connact me or the others.

ps  we are also well up for wondering about, so dont be suprised if a car load of southern softees turn up on your doorstep  ;D

Hi guys.

I've had a pair of M70s for about two months now and I'm pretty hooked.  I can do all the basic stuff and I'm now trying to improve the jumping and getting my technique ready to attempt a few flips (on crash mats of course ;)

I'm after a new pair but I'm not quite sure what weight band to get :(
