The Snow in lincolnshire has not been as heavy as that in the South. The forecast is for a thaw from Wednesday.
I do not see weather being an issue. If it is I will post something Friday PM.
The Sports centre will be open regardless, so I will be there

In bury st edmunds and all of suffolk we have had about 3inches of snow, its now started to rain, so will clear around here by thursday i think.

Booooo... My friend Chris can't come now as he has family commitments.. So I don't know if you had included him on the list Charlie? If so they'll be an extra space.
That also leaves me in a bit of a predictament, transport wise! Is there space in anyone's car going via Peterborough? If not i'm gonna see how much the train is.. How far away is the Gym away from the Station?
Any help would be appreciated as i reall wann go to this meet!

Looks like I may have to get the train now  (Unless I can get to Choc's early!) Its about £12.80 return from P'Borough so not to bad.. However, does anyone know how far the train staition is from the Gym? Is it a fairly cheap taxi? Failing that would anyone be able to pick me up from the station? Cheers JJ |

Well I am really sorry to say that due to a huge increase in the costs of hiring a minibus, the welshbockers will not be able to get a bus up to lincoln  So we're taking 3 cars instead  Clive, this does mean we only have 12 in total coming though. See everyone on saturday! |

The weathers now not that bad. I'm about 40 miles SSE of Lincoln and I'll post a weather update at about 4am.  Some of the "B" roads maybe a little tricky but by 9ish they should be OK too. Hope to see as many a possible make it.    |

You'd be missed but better safe and come next time than end up freezing cold stuck in the snow draft in the middle of no where. |

Understand your situation.Early morning black ice is always an issue. Most Motorways and main routes should be gritted. As the venue is only just off the A1 and A46 I would suspect black ice would not be an issue locally.
Just let me know as soon as you can

Just to clear a few things up
There has been minimal Snow in Lincoln, most of it has gone from roads or road sides
The Sports Centre has been functioning normally.
I will be there so the event is going ahead regardless

A1 all the way for me, jump on just after the M25 and one long road right up to lincoln... so hopefully I should be fine
