This board is to discuss gym sessions that are sponsored by Pro-Jump.
Currently Pro-Jump.co.uk have got together with the Yellow Belly Bockers to sponsor full day bocking sessions in Lincoln.
The first event took place in October 2008 with a further 3 sessions booked in for next year.
If you are interested in these sessions please let Clive (CharlieB) know in the relevant threads that will be posted soon.
We would appreciate if those going along will share pictures and videos with so that we can use them for promotional purposes and on the Pro-Jump.co.uk site.
Thank you

Its doesnt matter what you are on, its all about promoting the sport and to most newbies they just see them as jumping stilts rather than a specific brand. Anything sent in will be added to the following page http://www.pro-jump.co.uk/sitepage/Pro-Jump-Sponsored-Gym-Session.html

I don't really know much about why they stopped getting organised, however if someone is willing to take charge and organise another pro-jump gymfest in lincoln then im sure it would do pretty well as many of us are waiting for the next event lol.

i believe the problem was the organisers last time didn't do what they were ment to like putting up the banners and giving out leaflets it just turned more into a gym meet and getting it into the papers etc hence why they are no more if you want a gym meet in Lincoln you need to talk to stilt ninja (chris) about it he normally puts them on how ever cost is normally a bit pricy as they charge "club" rates for being there instead of splitting the cost of the gym between every one equally that is there on the day i would host some down here but my local sports centre got a bitt narked at us because we were ment to do a performance for them but they didn't give me any info until the day before the event so now they will let us in but they wont let us use crash mats and other stuff so a bit pointless really i have been looking for other places but they are rare to fined as most places want PLI witch is very expensive and hard to get due to the nature of the sport but yer if you do want one then contact chris im sure he can sort something

Ok i am looking into a lincoln meet , as people seem to want one .
As for the cost i have to do it at club rates to cover costs of anyone who does not pay
But i still believe the cost of the 3 hour session with all the facilities and pli covered by the club is fantastic value .
so will see what i can come up with , and will let you all know .

what do you mean by club rates?
Surely if people dont pay, they dont play?

it means there is a set charge , as i ran the sessions with a trust basis , as you pay at the end but this was abused so there will be a set charge payed on the door , like you said no pay no play ! ( i like that lol ).

If i recall i think what greg means is that "club" members pay £6 and "non club" members pay 10, tbh i think this isn't fair and everyone should pay the same, when we drive up to lincoln i spend over £40 in petrol so another 10 isn't healthy and food and drink on that :/ im looking at £60
just my 2 cents, but if everyone paid the same it would be more appealing

Agreed when i did the ones in bury i would always make a list of people defiantly going and the put the cost on the forum and then if more people turned up i would work it out on the day on average it used to cost us about £3.50 each for a 2 hour sesh and that was with about 7 or 8 of us there
