We wont be able to please everyone but I think its important to have a venue with decent accessability for the majority of people.

Btw it is spelt 'barely' not 'bearly'

I got to admit that Birmingham is my fav choice. I remember seeing some pics from other meets that made me really wanna go there but I also remember pinhead saying that to be outside in mass we'd definately need to get the authorities onside. Also I think with the right marketing and funding we can hire the NEC or one of brums arenas for us and build basically whatever we wanted.

About the money needed to hire something ?

I think this year some people didn't come has it looked like it was going to rain all weekend but we still had over 100 bockers.
If we had all put £5 into a pot we could hire at least hired some form on cover with the money ( £500 ) ?
CB09 is 10 months away and if we can get 200 bockers and each put £10 ( about 25p and week ) into a pot we are talking £2000 ( £1000/day ) to use to hire somewhere.
Would mean we need the money ASP and you could end up paying and then not be able to go ( maybe some sort of refund could be worked out ).
With what people would be spending over the weekend anyway £10 would be asking much ( some spent a lot more on booze on saturday night !? )

That opens up a whole new can of worms DK. People will moan that they could have spent the money on a better location or that it wasnt decided on very well etc. To make that work you'd basically have to say, donate your money and then totally trust the organisers to spend it wisely and if you dont like it then too bad.
It would cause arguments. Trust me.

Just like Locky just pointed out we would have the agree on a loction first unless a sponsor could trust us to spend their money ?

I personally think it has to be Birmingham or London and in that order of preference. I say we have a poll vote on the 2 locations and essentially we will be voting for an indoor location.

Basically, Muncher is still looking into it and its still a work in progress, his trying to do it properly and get proper permission but I'm not sure if he is aware about the recent ban.

However Munchers always said if others are willing to bring forward another location, organise it, do their homework on it then people can vote on the location they prefer.

There's still talks of a possible London or Cardiff CB but nothing is confirmed and just talk, but Norwich is still the only location that someone is actively working on to make it a CB location.

Think the above sums up the full thread on PP more or less.
