I can't see why we can't get to the Isle of Sheppy. But I have never had good experiences there. The Chavs were not very accepting in the slightest from my own personal experience, and it was years ago now. Alternatively there is always Sittingbourne. Also, are you able to catch the train? I don't drive but tend to get a train places.

If you caught 1 more train from sittingbourne to Gillingham, you'd be able to come to the Gym session. They really help improve your bocking skills, and it's a good laugh. Be good to see you if you can make it  :D See the other post!

nationalrail.com should be able to tell ya

“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!”

It occured to me that recently, every new member (except Toddy & KentLee) has had their first meet in their own town to welcome them. Perhaps we could go to Sheerness once, for DBlok. Personally, I am not massively enthusiastic about the place, but, it wouldn't be completely fair seeing as we have made an exception for everyone else. Even if it means us not being there for too long, as we could always arrange a gym meet later in the afternoon and sort DBlok out a lift or something. I am sure that way we will get him hooked for the future meets. Just merely throwing this idea out to the pack, so, what do you guys think? You never know, it might be a PowerBockers paradise ;)

It's a good idea. I could drop the Mrs off at her friends there and then come out for a couple of hrs on the bocks.

It does seem fairer, especially for those who don't drive. Mind you, this is unlikely to be before the current Gym session (i.e. I can't do tonight or tomorrow, KentLee and Tok work on Sat also) so the gym invite is still open. Then perhaps Carma or Toddy could arrange an official meet in Sheerness on one of the weeks the gym is unavailable? i.e. 2nd meet Sheerness, my 2nd meet was my hometown and the gym is out for 2-3 weeks after this Sunday.

Does that sound fair?

Posters, Banners, advertising... It's something that we're working on ;)

We have about 7-8 active members currently I believe.
