To be honest the whole "Gen 1" & "Gen 2" theories confused a lot of people, there was a lot of inaccuracies and most of it was just speculation.  As you can see there's about 6 versions of pro-jumps so you could call it 6 gens... so in the 2 gen theory you missing a lot of detail out!!!

For spares easiest way to determine what you need is check which version of Pro-Jumps you have and cross reference it with the hoofs you had then ask yourself two questions:

1. "was it straight or did it have a bend in them?" and
2. "are they the bolt on ones or not?"

And if you need help I'm always here ;)

Thats why I'm saying forget about the Gen1 / Gen2 theory, think of it as either indented or straight, if you get a picture up for me I'll tell you what you have & need ;)

How to tell if they are V5 or V6 is if you look at the hoofs, the V5 ones the metal sole plate doesnt fully cover the rubber, but on the V6 the metal sole plate is about longer so the whole rubber part is covered up!

Great chart, in the family we have a set of V2's and V4's
I've always thought the two Gen theory was bull lol

I have a tad problem, i have the feet below...which according to the table of hooves, Pro jump have never sold as spares or as a full pro-jump. They came with the original Pro-jumps i bought. I only ask because of the rubber tab at the top ( i presume this was pre white spacer?) Anyhoo my question is, brought some raptor springs and because of the rubber flap attached to the hoof, the holes don't line up to put the bolt through, so if i cut off/removed the rubber flap would this damage the springs in any way? As prev/current versions of the hoof have no rubber I also notice that the 7's springs don't have any rubber covering where this part is. Any help....plz?  :)

Fitted them at the start of December, Im not sure if its the same hoof, but as soon as I trimed the top tab (held on by two rivets) then they fitted and worked fine! Ive used them loads, in nice hot places!! hehe!  :nana: :nana:

Good, well sounds like it shouldn't be a problem, i might try and fit a thinner piece in instead, don'y want to wreck my new £130 springs... :(

Aghh I was sure I covered everything, never seen a pro-jump with the extra metal tab across the top so I think you may have a rogue pair  :o  I even checked with the parts guy, and he was certain we never sold any with the extra tab  :-\

Anyway the rubber bit comes with all pro-jumps, and you should be able to take it off, but make sure with Trip first thou as he should be able to help.
