I don't need codpiece protection ;)  I got these ones thru the post today:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330205427934&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=014

They have velcro on the inside of the waistband which is scratchy and needs to be removed but other than that the tailbone protection is nicely padded and sits in the right place, and they'll definitely go under baggy combats or boarding trews with no worries of "fat arse" comments

differently i would have had a look on www.chainreactioncycles.com, they have a load of safety gear different for "people who break easily" was it?

Yep, I bust my clavicle skating backwards in an ice hockey match, it was a real gentle fall but my arm curled underneath me and the clavicle took the brunt and popped - OUCH!  I guess there's no padding that can stop that happening again if I fell on bocks :(

Wait till you're backstage at a big Star Wars event and you witness Vader sitting with his lid off scoffing a donut, Boba Fett having a fag outside, and a Stormtrooper repairing his calf armour with gaffer tape.....my illusions were shatted long ago  :D :D :D

Back on topic again :P  My wrist guards arrived today but cos I have extremely skinny wrists and slim hands, they don't really "sandwich" my hand too firmly :(  If I wore gloves underneath to pad them out a bit would that work?

should do, it will stop them grazes to the outside of the hand a bit.
my wrist gueards arnet all that secure in all honesty, but when i did fall with them on they skidded away as i put preasure on, so i would slide rather than breaking, but im one of those stair diving hard to brake types
