It's a good job this thread was started by Locky on here, if someone else had started it on another forum, lets say. It would have had almost all the posts deleted by now..... ;)

I think the JJ will arrange our lifts and relays etc on oursite --avoid clutter ( tho a link back to us on the CB08 site would be handy).

OO the JJ's have also started training for the Sports day. There is some video of 'three legged' training lerking about! Yep it can be done. Use scarfs to tie legs ( wide and comfy). 1 round calves other round feet. Wear the stilts on 'wrong' feet to avoid damage to bindings.

Does any1 have access to a camoflage net? If so could they check if it is practicle to crawl under 1, without the stilts getting caught?

Anyone else training yet? If so what are you doing, can you post vids?  Maybe coordinate. So we all work on 2 or 3 ideas/events a month. So we then get a series of comparable videos. Will keep interest and publicity up for the event at one and the same time.

Anyone else planning to make more than just a weekend of this?

My boss seems to have lost my application for a few day before hand ( and gone on hols himself at mo). So Id like a few days down on the Gower, but not too sure if thats happening now. But more food for peeps to think about.

Oh and I trust you have all been 'scoping the place out --by watching 'Torchwood'.  Been some nice arial shots of our venue on it . Tho I keep thinkin 'Jack get ya ass out of the way --I want to see if that thing behind you is jumpable /

Hey how about that game where you spin round holding the broom over your head until you can't stand
Now that would be fun on Bocks (might need a few crash mats ) :haha:

I'd say one rule must be one hoof must be on the ground at all times ( on boncing ).  :)

Ok since my announcement about the UK Association doesnt seem to have ruffled anyones feathers I'll go ahead and tell you the capital bocking website has a clean new look and shed loads of more information on it.

Today I had a meeting with Cardiff Council who have finally come around to showing some love to our great sport. They are going to meet with the events team and discuss but it looks like the council are on board with us in some way. This probably means safety barriers and so forth but I really have no idea. They are certainly not simply leaving us to it, which would raise some serious health and safety issues.

What I do need to start doing is knowing realistically how many are coming. It could be anywhere between 100 and 300 but I need a good estimate so please please please if your name is not listed on the capital bocking forum topic then contact me in some way.

For those who are camping, I will have details about it posted on the site shortly. For those in hotels, info is on there. I have 20 rooms at the Holiday Inn express at a reduced rate and including parking and breakfast. First come, first serve.

Check it out: www.capitalbocking.co.uk

Yeah, love the new design, brilliant as usual  ;D

C'mon everyone, put your name on the list so we have a rough idea of how many bockers we will have. I rekon we should aim to break the 300 mark

100 days to go and we only have 51 people coming so far!

Whats going on? Don't you guys realise Capital Bocking is the biggest meet up in the world, ever?

So come on, pull your finger out and get your plans sorted.

PM me and let me know you're coming
Grab me on msn
or just register on the capital bocking website forum.

If you're unsure then take a look at some of the vids and pics from last year.
You dont want to be one of the people who wished you'd came but didnt bother do you!

Even Naz* is coming

*this is false information!
