Only buy the Pros if you tink you want a moving footplate.. but yes its advised that you bolt your Shoes onto them for safety.. i used my oldest trainers and there the comfiest ever while bouncing perminantly fixed to the stilts..

Yes, you do bolt them on and then leave them attached.

The yellow "booties" are really comfortable because you dont have two small areas wth lots of pressure, they spread the presure over a larger area.

I was lucky enough to try some of the Powerskip Pros last week, my friend has some & his the same shoe size as me  Grin I was amazed at how natural the moving plate feels, even though I've had my projumps for the year I was skeptical of the moving plate but now I think for the comfort factor they are tops.

I TOTALLY AGREE..  I think the ability to mive your ancles like that is just amazing for longer term users.. gives you a little movement in a joint that usually stays Still continuously

I was never too sure what the moving footplate was for. I thought it had made running better or something but ankle movement is a great idea. I would like to see somebody use them so I can see how they work.

Will do! One thing...Does it mean that you can walk up slopes and things easier because that without ankle movement is a bit strange compared with it walking normal with ankle movement

Ankle movement would be a bad thing for me because of my bad ankle. A moving plate sound like it would make running more fluid don't know if it would help jumping !?

its litterally un noticable.. if you jump correctly useing your heels the pad will only tilt when you conciously want it too...

So what are the advantages the moving footplate or in general what makes Powerskip Pros unique?

The PowerSkip Pros Footplate Tilts which is meant to help with Running. Now after 2 or so years of useing them i would never go back to a Standard plate because the movement has altered my technique (in a good way),I also Find the tilt makes the stilts more comfortable overall as well.

Some people like it to tilt, so people dont, you need to try it out really before using it.
I went to a meet a while back and out of 20 odd people I was the only one that liked the tilt, so you really gotta try out

I supose I better get involved in this thread (don't know how I missed so much of it) as I have 2 sets of moving footplates now (1 home made)

You are so right Kiola I really don't like the fixed plates now and feel so much better on the moving ones

Spud you are welcome to try mine if you ever get down here  only thing is they are on 114's so might be a bit stiff

I have fixed mine so they don't rotate as much as normal due to my ankle not being right (about 2/3's movement compared to normal) as I find it more comfy that way (very easy mod )

The advantages Zeri are that it feels so much more natural and I find it easier to recover from a bad landing on them
I also feel that it makes the springs feel softer and gets you more height as you can use your ankles to help when jumping

The disadvantages are that they take a while to get used to and swapping between fixed and moving or vice versa takes 10 mins before you feel right again
