How to strap your Knees in securely with webbing
« on: December 07, 2007, 03:52:42 PM »
Many people do not feel comfortable just using the straps provided on their jumping stilts to secure their knee in place. There for it is advisable to buy some webbing to give you additional support or buy some of PinHead69’s elite straps...

Wrapping the Knee Straps with “Normal” Webbing

The webbing:
Depending on when you brought your stilts, Your Pro-Jump set may have been provided with the webbing in the box, if not these can be brought from most craft shops and also on ebay for a couple of quid!

How to strap your self in:

•Start with the straps behind your calf.

•Bring both ends around to the front, below the knee bar

•Then criss-cross them over the front

•Then wrap behind the knee

•Keep repeating this pattern until you have just enough to tie it off.

•The straps can be tied up at the back of your legs so they do not distract you if they bounce about.

Using Pinhead69’s Straps

PinHead69 devised the ultimate mod for bockers, he developed the concept behind the original webbing idea but in a far more advanced way, offering the user a quick method to secure themselves in seconds rather than taking time to fit the webbing from scratch each time before using your bocks.
Prices start at just £18 if you are 18 or under and a few more quid if you are older!

Zendalfire's "ZenStraps"

Zendalfire created a cool D.I.Y strap design based on the original straps that come on jumping stilts and PinHead69's design, see http://www.stiltmodz.com/tut_kneestraps.html for a tutorial on how to make "ZenStraps"
