Downloadable Pro-Jump Manual 1st Edition!
« on: November 08, 2007, 05:52:04 PM »
Hey All,

Just updating this page with the latest online version of The Pro-Jump Manual.

Thank you to all those who helped put it together, provided quotes and images.

Enjoy.

Hi guys,

I’ve finally managed to sort out a Downloadable Pro-Jump Manual

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

You can either open it or save it to keep

I’d appreciate any suggestions and tips to make it better

Also if you spot any errors let me know ;)

A big thank you to all that made suggestions and to Pro-Jump 101, Kiola, Becky and others for the use of their images.

Please note The manual was created by myself for forum users, after many members told me the one supplied with the Pro-Jumps could be a lot better. It may contain inacuracies with what comes with the current Pro-Jumps and guarantees. Please refer to www.Pro-Jump.co.uk for up to date info!

In the downloadable manual it mentions Straps that come supplied, however with the current Pro-Jumps they are no longer supplied as the design of the attached knee straps changed so that it is more secure than previous models.

Thanks all & Enjoy

Naz

Not Bad just one thing ?
One page 1 it says
" We DO NOT Recommend "
But on page 1 it says
" Warnings:
DO NOT use ... "
 :-\

If the page 1 part was removed and the red wording ( with a little mod )moved to page 9 it would better ?

Maybe it should say
" We DO NOT Recommend these area's but for more tips and safe usage log on to the forum. "

Thanks for your comments

@ Kiola - Thought your trick looked cool  ;)
@ Q - Sorry no such thing as a downloadable man hehe
@ DK - I put the general recommendations on the intro but tried to follow it up with a more detailed safety guideline on page 9.

Keep the feedback coming, it's my first attempt at making a manual so I'm sure it can be improved :)

Naz,

I have read in the forum and seen in the manual now that:

"Putting on the calf straps.  The straps provided with your Pro-Jump stilts ......" and there's a picture of red & black straps.

I have bought 2 pairs of PJs now and there has not been any strapping in either box   :(  Latest pair as you know are very recent.

If it's in the manual that the straps are provided, they probably ought to be  ::)

GB...

Oooohhhhh - I may have just put my foot in it!  :-[

I actually made this manual myself, as a lot of members kept mentioning that the one with the stilts could be improved.

With my personal pair of jumping stilts (had them over a year) I did get the straps (the ones actually shown in the pic!) included so I just assumed they still have them in the box  :-\ when I wrote it.

However I will confirm whether they should be included and get back to you tomorrow!

Mine are about 6 months old I think, and they came with red & black straps.
Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional.

I know you need to see all the parts clearly but by showing the Junior ( enlarged ) next to a Adult Stilt someone may think They are that size !?

Yeah I did think that iniatially but then thought the specs at the back / picture at the front will hopefully give an idea to people regarding the size differance.

If I made it any smaller it was getting hard to read.

Put them in boxes so they don't look like their in the same picture ?

Hello, I am the same as gillybert, I brought my first pair of PJs about two weeks ago and when they arrived I had no calf straps either, Just the one strap which is built into the PJs with a black plastic clip on it. Does any one know if straps should of been supplied with them?

Manual looks great by the way, much better than the one that came with the PJs

Hi Benny

The straps no longer come with the Pro-Jump's, as the design of the knee strap (attached one) changed the manufacturer felt that the straps were no longer needed.

I did the manual myself and it's not something that Pro-Jump themselves have created, I went with what I recieved with my own Pro-Jumps and at the time the strap was included. The manual was created mainly for the forum members that kept telling me how much they didn't like the one in the box  :)

Sorry for causing confusion!

its a great manual, very comprehensive and makes me think i should get some of these straps, mine's a loop and pull back velcro which in all honesty is pants.
i would be willing to help you out on the graphic design of the second one if you would like it, i used to be super mod on a gaming forum and done an EMAG over there.
im more than willing to help the site and the sport however i can mate just give me a shout
