''grip-sox''
« on: October 22, 2007, 01:52:21 AM »
well as im off from work with gaestro entoritus, which has unfortunately led to a small stomach ulcer i tried to make some use of my time indoors and off my bocks....

my cleated version of my 'quick-sox'

the design was essentialy the same as the quick-sox although a central strap was added to eliminate any sideways movement created my the extra grip of the 'soft spikes black widow' golf shoe cleats.

opinions please :), it might give me something else to do as im totally not enjoying being able to do not a lot.

well...you all know im a fussy git by now init....
i tried these out a few days ago at a meet up with the tard himself..
hehe.... anyhows....
ive gotta say...these are ace....
they grip like dogs lumps to a blanket...  (and belive me i know...
my dog had pups a while ago) hehe
anyhows... the grass was quite damp and i felt no slipping
whatsoever... they are very well made and should last quite a long
time as this model is just for grass use...the beauty is...they come off really
quick if you want to change or go bare back...oooeerrrr
nice one ricc...they rock bigtime

Wow they look pretty good. Ash, my mate, had a similar idea to this and I don't know how far he has got. I would be interested in trying these one day! Because we do all sorts of shows on grass and grip is quite a big issue on there!!
