I don't think we need worry about the theme I think they'll be happy as we are !?
Sounds like the parade a done deal ( Still seeing if we'll get our own number ) the flag thing is still to be sorted but tell me if you'd be up to carry a flag ? Even if your new to bocking you've got lots of time before the parade

(just no flips ) They've not told me how big their after I'm going to work it out with them I'm just seeing if we can get 11 flag carriers !? Two idea's I've got 1) 3 meter plastic pole. We can lean on them to stand still 2) A hand batton just bigger than the flag with a counter balance at the bottom. We could wave them about. I think they want us to carry them on the parade because we are off to check the route ? " I will have to do a risk assesment (I know it's a pain) as it's an official parade "The flag plannings a bit in the air ( FLAG , in the air !? LOL ) but I'll get back to them in a couple of weeks after I've tried out my idea's

Thanks for that but I don't think their bothered about us not being themed I think they would have us anyway and maybe want us as flag bearers !? As for the distance well it's a long time off and you never know what you'll be doing or where you could be ?

The parade start at about 2pm but there'll be lots of people about so if your coming by car then get there before 10, trains and coaches/buses drop you in town center. Our best bet is meet up about 9-10 in coach station and when the town gets too busy we can make our way to Spring fields where the parade starts and sort the flags out and have a look at the floats before the parade starts and grab something to eat. I Been in touch with them about numbers. They'll be happy for us to join in the parade as long as there's not too many of us !? Well it's a three and a half miles route ( still not checked that ) at walking pace. If you don't like people watching you then you'll not like it, their hoping for 100,000 people But I told them that I'd like to share the flag carrying out so people can have a bock/bounce and that some would like to carry a flag but think they'd not be able to carry it all the way, so we need a lot in the parade There's a big field at the end of the parade and we can bock about there ( with all the people it'll be hard to go too far anyway ). Most people watch parade then leave soon after so if anyones up for more then we could have a bock round Spalding. REMEMBER I'd to know if you'd carry a flag ( maybe just part way )

Great. It's five months away so you've got lots of time We need 11 flag bears but could do with more so people can have a break, so don't panic if you don't and think you'd never make it !

They've just emailed me and are very insterested with us but they need a ruff figure of the numbers coming ? I know this meet is a long way off ( MAY ) but if you think you'll be coming please say so !?They are hoping we can carry 11 flags ( check first page ) so we need 11 bocks They dont mind us what we wear, but I was thinking that a T-shirt design maybe a nice idea, after all it their 50th and our first Maybe you know of a parade near you that we can join in !? Doesn't hurt to ask I did and they liked the idea
