I have been working over the last few months recruiting people in Scout Network (18-24) to perform in the 02 Arena (former Millennium Dome) this November in Live07-A Festival of Scouting.
The show is to celebrate 100 years of Scouts and takes place on the 24th November. It is a variety show including items from each section of Scouting, celebrating the acheivements of Scouting and what it has provided the milllions of people who have been members since it began.
As part of the Network item we have 14 people on bocks performing on bocks, Lukey, Superfreak, DangerMike, FlyinMonkey, Jody, Dani, Rachel, Frenchy, Me, Beki, Amy, Fran, Alex and Kayleigh. Which totals up to 6 boys and 8 girls!
We are working with Peter Duncan in the item (he is the Cheif Scout and ex-Blue Peter Presenter)
We had a rehearsal for this yesterday and Saturday - looks like it will be a good show, lots of singing and dancing but also some rather unusual items (like our one really)
The show is open to the public and there are 30,000 seats available over 2 performances (1.30pm and 6.45pm). If anyone wants to come and see it the show is on the 24th November
