Title: August / Sept Competition - WIN £50 / Safety gear :)
Post by: webmaster on August 14, 2007, 03:07:22 PM
Hi all

Sorry in the big delay in our latest competition. But we have some fab prices on offer including a 1st price of £50! This competition will run till the end of September.

This was initially just going to be a design a Pro-Jump T-shirt competition but I realise not everybody likes designing so for those of you that don't please send in pictures of you using your bocks in the most ridiculous / original  place or situation  (Ideal opportunity for some of you to put on your tutu's lol)

We are hoping to get a nice t-shirt range in for so your designs may be used for this too!

Please  see competition rules below!

There will be a new category in the gallery to add your images. We have had problems with the image loader in the gallery please make sure all images are under 1024px wide other wise they may not upload (alternatively send them in to admin@projump.co.uk with your username & I’ll resize and add them in the gallery for you)

Now for the prizes!

First prize will be £50  :)

Second Prize is a set of knee / elbow pads and our wrist guards

3rd price is a back protector

Comp rules – Not many but needed all the same!

•   This competition is open to all Pro-Jump forum members

•   Members can enter as many times as they like

•   By entering this competition you are giving all rights to the pictures / art work to Pro-Jump to use as they wish.

•   For the design a t-shirt competition please download the attached T-Shirt image. (This image is just to guide you but the t-shirt can be any colour not just white!) You may just design the front if you want the back is optional – all designs must include the url www.Pro-Jump.co.uk  Please add the design jpeg to the gallery. All original high resolution PNG or PDS files must be sent into admin@Projump.co.uk so if we decide to use a design to make a t-shirt this can be done. (In the past competition winners have taken off the original files / links so we have been unable to use them for promotional purposes which is why this rule is now is place :( )

•   Winners will be notified within a few days and prizes sent out sharpish!

•   Where we can not offer the original prize an alternative or equivalent will be sent out or offered

Good luck :)

Do we have to use the Pro-Jump logo on the T-Shirt??

Post by: Dark Knight on August 24, 2007, 05:14:51 PM
Most designs could be just printed inside a A4 paper ( printable paper size ) !?
You'd only need to show t-shirt the design call for odd spacing or something needed to be show on the t-shirt  ;)

I searched on Google and used the one Kiola suggested. It was quite small but it was easy to make it bigger without much pixeling

hey guys

You dont have to use the t-shirt design it was just there to help you if you wanted it. Images like what trixster did for EA bockers top are fine too  ;)

Mine ar in .png
I can easily sort it out though by saving them as a different format on The Gimp though.

Post by: webmaster on August 28, 2007, 07:48:08 PM
Ahh I see... As long as they are in good quality and are printable they should be ok guys. So jpg's will be fine as well.

I asked for png or psds as they are easily editable if needs be.

Pop them back on ET you had some cool designs there :)

send in pictures of you using your bocks in the most ridiculous / original  place or situation  (Ideal opportunity for some of you to put on your tutu's lol)

You should have adding that it's Ridiculous place not most dangerous place (Bocking in the fast lane of the M1 into on coming traffic may be ridiculous and is also Dangerous and stupid  !?
Beside the police stop you before you can take the picture  :o  ;D

I was thinking of one great place but had a rethink and after thinking of the dangers in posing for it I'd rather lose the competition than my life  :o

I have been using Photoshop & Illustrator. You need to make the designs as vectors not bitmaps as vectors are scaleable, bitmaps aren't.

pity last year at tory conference they had a team of tory wannabe MP's v the GB paraolympics basketball team --- i could have soooo gatecrashed that

Good luck everyone.

hey naz can i post a video? i cant get hold of pictures until 2mo, so the vid is all me and hilly have, its a joint entry... ;D

[edit] sorry, bump this if you must, but this is the only feasible way of doing it, here goes....

Below are Hilly and Me on a rainy day when we had nothing to do...then we thought, *ahah* "lets go find something crazy to do for the competition" so off we trotted into the rain, later after pillaging backstage for an assortment of items (shown below), we proceded to joust....here are the results fo the stupedest place to be when jousting on bocks....our common room, which is about 5m long, with large windows, lockers and metal chairs, enjoy....

P.S. if you are wondering what the hell we are doing, hilly is wearing a large red wig, i am wearing a saucpan on my head, and we are using broom handles with bubble wrap as padding and urm, well, jousting.... ;D

Well this was random, can't wait till next competition  ;D

Ps apologies for poor vid quality, but u kinda get the gist, i hope...?

All original high resolution PNG or PDS files must be sent into admin@Projump.co.uk so if we decide to use a design to make a t-shirt this can be done.

That's a normal size one ? You'd have to be a right pig to have one with chips !?
I could never eat more than a couple of chips after a mars bar.
