Cancelled due to torrential downpours
Ok, so this time round, we will meet in Sheerness for MightDBloks first honourary meet. How about at the station at 11am. I say the station, as I don't really want to be waiting in the town ;), and the stations not far away, but far enough :). DBlok, is that park still there near the riverside?
Anyway, will update with definates very soon :)

WOHOO been waiting like mad for this meet. do you mean the park next to the beach if soo its now a skate park but very close by is a big field with a sandpit in da middle so theres usually loads of people there on a hot day sunbatheing but dnt no bout on a sunday. cant wait

Not many mate, to be honest, there arn't a massive number in our group yet at all. We are increasing in size everymonth though.

That's fair enough DBlok, but you might be waiting around for us. We don't know when we are getting there yet, could be sitting around for a good couple of hours, considering it looks as if it is only us three coming.

CANCELLED
Due to people deciding its a write-off without actually bothering to tell me. And I am most certainly not going to Sheerness on my own. Will be in Gravesend this afternoon, but we won't be going to Sheerness.
I just want to say, I cancelled a lot of plans to make this meet, if people had actually bothered to tell me sooner than right now that they couldn't come, I may have been able to still do something constructive with my day. I do have a certain amount of commitment to this group, and it does come first. All I ask in return is that people give me a fair amount of notice wether they can or can not go.

Guys, not much response to going to Sheerness... LOL
Do we want to do this or should we book a gym sesh?
Personally I'm open minded towards either, but we better make up our minds what we're doing, especially if you want a gym as it'll need arranging (shouldn't be a problem).

Very considerate of you Carma.
There is a 'leisure centre' but best they'd have for backing would be a squash court and they don't have mats or anything really so it'd be a meet.
For a meet nice big park, theres a skate park that we could steal, in the town I'm sure we could find places to scare the locals however I would suggest not on a saturday as it's market day and highstreet gets filled with stalls.
On the dates thing I'm away for a week from next Friday and I know me and Wally are both away from august 15th-25th but I don't know other dates he's away.

I actually have my weekend taken up sadly, but if you all want to have the meet this weekend let me know and I will add a post and update the wedsite :)

Ok, just so everybody knows, nothing is arranged for this weekend.
This has been a pretty unlucky thread actually, so many re-arrangements and cancellations!
Lets let this one die and start a new one for our next meet / gym :P

Listen mate, you are always welcome to our meets, Dartford really isnt that far away. We were only going to come to Sheppy once anyway. We tried, and failed, twice. People just didn't seem that keen on going there so we do not want to chance another poor attendance and need to choose somewhere more appealing and easier to access. Some of us were all willing to come to you, so perhaps you can try coming to us and we can maybe arrange another meet. :)
That wasn't really the nicest of attitudes to have when we tried to arrange a meet for you. And twice in a row I might add.
